Manifesto Redux

NO/W/HERE is a manifesto shaped by contradiction. It began during a personal reset—after burnout, creative doubt, and a disconnection from my own design identity. What emerged was a constellation of reflections, values, and essays orbiting one central idea: meaning doesn’t arrive all at once—it appears when connections are made.

Each spread is a “star”—a standalone entry. Readers can move through them in any order. Only at the centre gate-fold does the full picture come into view: NO/W/HERE, playing on both nowhere and now here. The structure is deliberate—mirroring my shift from rushed outcomes to more relational, reflective design.

This project was shaped by a year of rediscovery—during the Melbourne study tour, collaborative group work, and conversations that reconnected me with empathy, rhythm, and curiosity. I no longer see design as just output, but as dialogue, process, and presence.

The manifesto is grounded in three values:
Responsible design—creating with longevity and care.
Pluriversal design—making space for multiple perspectives.
Ethical design—prioritising empathy and emotional impact.

Influences include Dirk Gently’s holistic thinking, the existential absurdity of Everything Everywhere All At Once, and Anthony Green’s open, honest creative philosophy. Together, they helped me see design not as something to control, but something to listen to.

NO/W/HERE is more than a manifesto. It’s a map—of where I’ve been, and how I want to keep designing: slowly, collaboratively, and with intention.
